The award ceremony of “Typical Enterprises with New Advantages in Commercial Competition in China” of the year 2012 was held in Beijing by International Business Daily Press of the Ministry of Commerce. Ningbo Joyson Investment Holding Co., Ltd was awarded “Top 50 Innovative Enterprises ‘Going Out’” because of its international advantage, ability of independent innovation and distinctive cross-cultural characteristics.
It is understood that all the enterprises which took part in the selection for “Top 50 Innovative Enterprises ‘Going Out’” must have: an overseas institution, a trade display center or warehouse and a logistics center abroad; an increasing rate of sales “going out” of more than 20%; an annual investment for overseas projects of no less than＄2 million and a sound financial management system and overseas projects maintaining profits in the past three years. Only 4 enterprises in Ningbo received this special honor and Joyson was at the top of them.
In the future, Joyson will continue to improve the quality of their products and reinforce its ability of research and development and level of internationalization. The newly-built Business Department of Automotive Functional Parts will expand the existing market advantages, reinforce the intensity of “going out” and establish its market in Europe and North America; meanwhile, research and development center for Automotive Electronics in China will serve as the standing point for the “coming in” of the Business Department of Automotive Electronics and increasing its domestic market shares. Different strategic plans enable Joyson’s globalization to be distinctive.
Provincial and city leaders have some expectations towards Joyson’s internationalization as well. Provincial Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Mr. Wang Huizhi said during his investigation at Joyson Holding, “Depending on independent innovation, Joyson entered the high-tech area of Automotive Electronics and succeeded in cross-border M&A, which made it the best among the many Automotive Spare Parts companies in Ningbo. I hope that Joyson will have ambitions of increasing its expansion and growth with its root in Ningbo and making efforts to become top 500 enterprises in China and even top 500 enterprises worldwide.” The Mayor Mr. Liuqi also encouraged Joyson to have an international outlook with its root in Ningbo, to reinforce its independent innovation, to keep the existing advantages and to quicken the steps of internationalization.
The theme of this ceremony was “New Thoughts Make New Advantages, New Methods Make New Values”. The title of “The Most Innovative Enterprises ‘Going Out’ ” was voted together by leaders of the Ministry of Commerce, relevant experts and audience and received strong concerns from more than 60 mainstream media. This award contains rather higher authority and significance.
